Private Roads
Long-haul paving for gated communities and estate roads, handled with the same care as a single driveway.

Private roads — long driveways, HOA roads, and roads serving gated communities or estate properties — come with their own set of considerations: longer paving runs, more complex grading and drainage across varied terrain, and often higher expectations for the finished look.
The paving process uses the same fundamentals as any asphalt job — grading, base compaction, tack coat, paving, compaction — just applied consistently across a much longer stretch, so the finished road doesn't have visible seams or inconsistent quality from one end to the other.

Full Route Grading
The entire length of the road is graded for proper drainage before any base work begins.

Base Compaction
A consistent aggregate base is built and compacted along the full route.

Tack Coat
A bonding layer is applied so the asphalt surface bonds properly to the base.

Continuous Paving
Asphalt is paved in consistent lifts to avoid visible seams or texture changes along the length of the road.

Compaction & Finish
The full run is compacted to uniform density and finished to a consistent grade.
Signs You Need Private Roads
- A long gravel or dirt access road ready to be paved for the first time
- An existing private road with inconsistent patching or visible repair seams
- HOA or estate roads due for resurfacing after years of wear
- Drainage problems along a long route that periodic patching hasn't solved
Why C&M
- Consistent Quality End to End:The same base and compaction standards are used across the full length of the road.
- Built for the Terrain:Grading and drainage planned for the specific route, not just a flat lot.
- Handles Long Runs:Equipment and crew scheduled for continuous paving on longer jobs.
- Same Craftsmanship as a Driveway:A private road gets the same attention as a single residential job.
